Privacy Policy
Octane Technologies LLC, operating as Octane Agents (“we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use octaneagents.com or engage our services, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — name, business name, email address, phone number, and service area, submitted through our audit request form, contact form, or booking calendar.
- Business information — details about your services, service area, and marketing goals that you share with us in forms, calls, or email.
- Client account access — for clients, credentials or delegated access to platforms such as your Google Business Profile, used solely to perform the services you have engaged us for.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, referring URL, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type.
- Cookies and similar technologies — used for basic site function and aggregate analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings; core pages will still work.
- Call tracking — where call tracking is part of your service, we record call metadata such as number, time, and duration. Where calls themselves are recorded, applicable notice and consent requirements apply and recording is disclosed at the start of the call.
How we use your information
- To prepare and deliver the free audit you requested.
- To respond to enquiries and schedule calls.
- To provide, operate, and improve the services you have engaged us for.
- To send service updates, reports, and — where you have opted in — marketing communications.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
SMS and text messaging
If you provide your phone number and opt in, we may send you text messages relating to your enquiry, appointment, or account. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further texts.
- Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at the address below.
- Opting out of marketing texts does not stop transactional messages relating to an active engagement, such as appointment confirmations.
- Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
Service providers
We rely on third-party platforms to run our business. Each processes data under its own terms, and we share only what is needed for them to do their job:
- GoHighLevel — CRM, forms, scheduling, SMS and email delivery.
- Google — Business Profile management and website analytics.
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
Data retention
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards, and client data for the duration of the engagement plus any period required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of marketing communications at any time. To exercise any of these, email us at hello@octaneagents.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are directed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page.
